Quickstart

Setting up Pivien takes a few minutes and doesn't require any networking knowledge.

   Join the waitlist

   Leave your email and choose your platform. You'll receive your download link and launch pricing as soon as Pivien opens. Joining is free and doesn't commit you to anything.

   Install the app

   Download Pivien for your device from the link in your email, or from your platform's app store, and open it.

   Sign in

   Sign in with your Pivien account. One account covers your laptop, phone and tablet.

   Choose a location

   Pick a server from the list, or leave the default. A location close to you usually gives the best speed. See Connecting & choosing a server.

   Connect

   Press the power button. When the status reads Protected, your traffic is travelling through the encrypted tunnel.

Check that you're protected#

Once connected, the app shows the location you're connected to and the IP address websites now see. You can confirm it independently:

1. Visit any “what is my IP” site while disconnected and note the address and location.
2. Connect to Pivien and reload the page.
3. The address and location should now match the server you chose.
